Suffs on Broadway with The Grad Network

Experience Suffs on Broadway with The Grad Network 7:30 p.m. November 13. The musical, with music, book, and lyrics written by Shaina Taub, tells the story of American women’s fight for the right to vote.

When accepting the Tony Award for Best Score, Taub quoted the Talmud, saying “You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.” The verse from the Talmud has inspired Taub and helped shape the thesis for the show. The musical celebrates the changes achieved and acknowledges the work that remains to be done.
