Learn to cook traditional Ethiopian cuisine with beloved Chef Beejhy, an Ethiopian-born and Israeli-raised chef who owns Tsion Cafe in Harlem and founded the Beta Israel of North America Cultural Foundation. We are thrilled for The Grad Network and Harlem Moishe House communities to come together for a nourishing meal and to celebrate Jewish diversity.
Space is limited. RSVP here.
Together, we will cook, eat, and mingle at the Harlem Moishe House for this awesome food lab experience. During the meal, we will also learn more about Sigd, a unique holiday in the Beta Israel community. The cooking workshop will begin at 7 p.m. and conclude, after eating together, around 9 p.m.
If cost is a barrier to participation, please email Melissa, Director of The Grad Network.
Please note: The Harlem Moishe House kitchen is not a kosher facility. All food prepared will be vegetarian.
Harlem Moishe House address will be provided to registrants.
